QUARRYVILLE -- The Solanco Fair Parade drew a large crowd last night to
the Quarryville Fairgrounds and throughout the Borough itself. Sunday
people started setting out chairs and benches and blankets as they staked
claim to the perfect parade viewing site. The theme this year is "Lights,
Camera, Action."
Econ Provides Recycling for the Solanco
Parade
KIRKWOOD
-- Econ Refuse Service, of Kirkwood, provided white recycling boxes for
plastics and cans along the parade route along with their usual contribution
of brown boxes for trash. Disposing your soda can or water bottle before,
during and after the Solanco Fair Parade just got a lot easier and a lot
better for the environment.

sewing products and crafts. These competitions allow exhibitors to
demonstrate their skills in raising livestock or produce or crops or their
skills in craftsmanship. One of the highlights for me at fairs is the field
crop and hay judging exhibits. (Full
